Her TV, Film & Voiceover work includes roles in BAYWATCH, UnREAL, SELMA, MAGIC MIKE XXL, STITCHERS, BARBIE: LIFE IN THE DREAMHOUSE, LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED?, MONSTER HIGH, EVER AFTER HIGH, SINGLE LADIES, THE CLIENT LIST, CSI:NY, BIRTHDAY CAKE, EASY ABBY, SIX DEGREES, THE APPRENTICE, UNICORN PLAN-IT and the upcoming series BAD HABITS and SINS.
On Broadway, she played Grandma Tzeitel and Hodel in the 2004 revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF with Rosie O'Donnell, Alfred Molina, Harvey Fierstein, and Lea Michele, and while in the show, recorded the cast album and performed on The Tonys. She played Fantine in the revival of LES MISERABLES, and sang with the film cast on the Academy Awards and performed on The View. She also produced the Off-Broadway hit, ALMOST, MAINE, now playing in regional theatres around the globe. She's worked regionally at Trinity Rep in Providence, originating Charles Strouse's leading lady in YOU NEVER KNOW, NY Stage&Film with Amanda McBroom's DANGEROUS BEAUTY, and stints at NorthShore Music Theatre and Actor's Express in Atlanta. In Los Angeles, she's appeared in FOR THE RECORD and in shows at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
As a recording artist, her music is available on iTunes and Spotify, and includes her original pop album, SPARK, which Haviland wrote in collaboration with Ashley Reed, Jack of Co.Z, Ill Chill, Premo D'Anger, The Outsiders WWI, Beth Wexler and Mike Schlosser. She's released two music videos from the album for the songs, "MKE Maximum Energy" + "Muse." Her first album, HOW I ROLE, whose track list includes rock covers, jazz and musical theatre, was produced by Michael Croiter and directed and arranged by Steven Jamail. She regularly performs live, and has sung on the stages of Radio City Music Hall, Atlanta's Symphony Hall, SxSW, West Hollywood's Eleven, Rockwell, Rage, M Bar, The Abbey, The Flamingo Vegas, NYC's Joe's Pub at the Public, and The Lincoln Center.
She's a recipient of the PowerUP Award, joining past winners Ellen Degeneres, Jane Lynch, and Rachel Maddow, was listed on Go Magazine's "100 Women We Love," and won "Most Improved" on her high school volleyball team the same year she won the "Musical Theatre Award."
Haviland grew up in Georgia, attended The Paideia School and Ithaca College, studied improv at the Groundlings, and graduated, with honors, from New York University.
