I shoot my studio sessions tethered to my Macbook. During our photoshoot you will be able to see your images as we take them on a large 13" screen. This is much better than viewing on location with a 3" display. We will be able to look at your headshots together as we capture them and determine what look or pose is working best for you and make adjustments as needed.
Deposit - There will be a $25 deposit due to hold your appointment. This deposit will go towards the final cost. We will invoice you via paypal which will be due upon receipt.
Delivery - Full size Images are sent to you with 5 business days via dropbox. You OWN all images and can have them reproduced to your liking.
Late Arrivals - Clients who are late will result in less photo session time and less overall images. So please be punctual and on time if not early.
Shoot Location: We are located in Santa Clarita, CA at Soledad Canyon Rd and Penlon. Contact us after booking for exact shoot location address. email: email@example.com (Tel) 661-523-7504
CLOTHING - Wear what you feel GREAT in! -Vary your necklines (v neck, crew neck, button downs, collars, tank top etc.) -Vary your colors and avoid overly bright tones, rich reds, and graphic tees with large logos (excessive prints and patterns often do not work). Pick colors that compliment your skin tone. If your light skinned avoid all white. If your dark skinned avoid black. -Please bring extra clothing items which can be layered such as sweatshirts, jackets, scarves. -Shoes do not matter. -Make sure that you have both casual and dressy items. -It is important that your clothes are wrinkle-free and without stains. -Please only bring minimal accessories.
Theatrical vs. Commercial Headshots
Theatrical headshots, bring dressier, upscale clothes with darker colors. For women: stretchy tops, sweaters, velvet, satin, scoop necks, spaghetti strap, tank tops and v-necks. Also business suits and other professional clothing. For men: Dress shirts, crew necks, textured sweaters, v-neck, and turtle necks. Also suits and blazers. You can create contrast by layering a t-shirt, collared shirt, and/or leather jacket. For commercial headshots, bring casual clothes & lighter/brighter colors. Think sporty and fun. Consider layering light and dark clothes for contrast. For women: t-shirts, tank tops, sweater sets, denim/leather jackets, textured sweaters. For men: t-shirts, hoodies/sweatshirts, work shirts, polo shirts, denim/leather jackets, textured sweaters.
Makeup Please come makeup ready. Avoid excess makeup. Your headshot should be a true representation of yourself. When casting directors and agents meet you in person, they want to see the same person that they saw in the headshot. Light makeup is especially important for children. Children should look as natural as possible, and most importantly look their age.
